The students of the school are divided into four houses. GANGES (Red), YAMUNA (Green), KAVERI (Blue) and KRISHNA (Yellow).
The main idea of the house system is to inculcate in our students the essential qualities of leadership, team work, co-operation, mutual understanding and self-reliance. Various Inter-house activities are held for this purpose throughout the year. The competitions among these houses pave them to meet the world competition which is imperative to make sure that students are multi dimensional personality.
Common craft such as paper folding and cutting is introduced in the primary stages. Marking meaningful collections and learning their classification is done by children.
Right from the primary classes, children start learning simple crafts. Their activities are continued and improved upon in the middle classes. Making working models is also taught.
Every last day of every month, different activities are introduced. These activities are done by students. Through this, they will become better equipped for living in an industralized society in a town or rural setting and develop greater respect for the working classes.
To meet the requirements of this age a strong programme of health is as necessary as a good academic one. For physical development every child is losely watched and records are maintained. Suitable remedical exercises, also yoga exercises are made use of.
Participation of each and every student is essential not only in physical activities but also in co-curricular activities. The school gives opportunities to all the students to discover their talents and excel in them to the best of their capacity.
